App and voice control
Control each shade, a room or the whole house from a handheld remote, a wall switch or the motor maker's phone app. With a compatible hub, shades also respond to voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Apple Home. We confirm compatibility for your system before you order.
Schedules and smart-home scenes
Set shades to open at sunrise, close when the afternoon sun hits a south-facing room, or lower at sunset for privacy. Scenes group shades together, so one tap can set "Morning", "Movie night" or "Away" across several rooms.
Integration with your home system
Shades can work alongside lighting, thermostats and security systems through a compatible hub or automation platform. If you work with an integrator or builder, we coordinate the motor and hub choice with them early in the project.
Power options
Rechargeable battery motors need no wiring and suit existing homes; they recharge with a USB cable or an optional small solar panel. Hardwired motors are best planned during a renovation or new build, when wiring can be run to each window.

Are motorized blinds worth the cost?
For tall, wide or hard-to-reach windows, and for anyone who wants schedules or voice control, they are worth it. Many clients start with key rooms and add more later.
Do battery motors need wiring?
No. Rechargeable motors run for months on a charge and recharge with a cable or a small solar panel, so no electrician is needed.
Do motorized shades work with Alexa and Google Home?
Yes, through the motor brand's hub or app. We set up your app, remotes and voice assistant during installation.
Can you motorize my existing blinds?
It depends on the blind. Often it is better to replace them with motor-ready shades; we check during your free consultation.
