Custom Roller Shades in Richmond Hill & the GTA
Roller shades are the cleanest, most versatile window covering you can choose. A single panel of fabric rolls neatly onto a slim tube, so the shade almost disappears when raised and gives a smooth, tailored finish when lowered.

How it works
The fabric wraps around a tube mounted at the top of the window. Lowering it covers the glass with a flat panel; raising it rolls the fabric away into a compact roll or an optional cassette or fascia that hides the roll completely.
Benefits
Three kinds of light control
Light filtering for soft daylight, blackout for bedrooms, and solar screen to cut glare and heat while keeping the view.
Minimal and modern
A flat panel with no slats or folds suits modern homes, condos and offices.
Great for large windows
Wide fabrics cover big windows and patio doors with fewer seams.
Easy to motorize
Roller shades are the most popular shade to motorize, alone or in groups.
Best suited for
Living rooms, home offices, kitchens, bedrooms (with blackout fabric), media rooms and commercial spaces.
Fabrics, finishes and controls
Fabrics
Hundreds of colours and textures, from crisp whites to linen weaves and dark charcoals.
Solar screen openness
1%, 3% or 5% openness. Lower numbers block more glare and give more daytime privacy; higher numbers keep more of the view.
Top treatments
Open roll, cassette or fascia to hide the tube.
Layering
Double roller brackets hold a solar screen and a blackout shade on one window.

What is the best roller shade for a bedroom?
A blackout roller shade, mounted outside the frame or with side channels, darkens a bedroom the most. Many clients pair it with a solar screen or sheer drapery for daytime.
What does solar screen openness mean?
Openness is the percentage of tiny gaps in the weave. A 1% screen blocks the most sun and glare; a 5% screen lets in more light and gives a clearer view outside.
Can I see through roller shades at night?
Light filtering and solar screen fabrics let people see in at night when lights are on inside. For night privacy, choose blackout or layer two shades.
Do you install roller shades for offices?
Yes. We install roller shades for homes, offices, restaurants and large commercial projects across the GTA, including projects with hundreds of shades.
